I've been working as a freelance Illustrator since 1985, when I finished my degree course in Graphic Design, at Kingston, specializing in Illustration.
Huge tahnks go to the legendary, Brian Love, who was an inspirational figure for most of us, lucky enough to have studied under him.

Over the years I've evolved from a charcoal wielding, Luddite, into a more or less fully paid up member of the digital age.
In the early days of my illustration career, EVERYTHING was hand drawn and coloured using inks, coloured pencil or marker pen. After one disaster with a bottle of ink too many, probably caused by the cat, I embraced the computer age and the bennefits of the undo command. Now, whilst still relying on pencil and paper to get the ball rolling, most of the images I produce, are at least partially, digitally generated.

I do draw some of my black and white images with an old fashioned impliment known as a pen, then for the convenience of the client, scan the image in and provide the artwork digitally.

By visiting the various galleries on this site, you will get a fair idea of the range of work I do.

I have attempted to organize the illustrations into groups, but some fall into more than one category, so it's probably worth a quick mouse through all the galleries.

I've enjoyed creating the images and hope you enjoy looking at them!
